Why Every Christian Should Look Forward to the Rapture.

The Rapture. A highly known event for most Christians, and yet is highly misunderstood. Most who are “spiritually awake” can’t wait for it to happen.

And why not?

For every believer and follower of Jesus Christ, who followed His teachings and is ready and waiting will be taken up with Him.

Taken up with Him?

Yes. Though several doctrines from different Churches has diverged from what the Rapture is, and even to the point of denying that it will ever happen. Putting in theological, symbolical and metaphysical explanations to justify their reasons why it’s not going to happen.  The Rapture simply means that Jesus Christ is coming back for all of us – His followers – His Bride.  And He made it clear that Christians should be ready and waiting for Him.

Matthew 24:44

“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Mark 13:32-37
“

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.  It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Luke 21:36

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

John 14:3

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

In short, Jesus is coming back for His followers, those who truly abide in His words and teachings.  We Christians, will be going to our true home which is in Heaven.  No death, no pain, no sufferings. no killings and no evil. Truly a perfect place filled with Love, Joy and Everlasting Peace.

Always remember that our existence in this world is only temporary, and we all belong to our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.

As Christians, we should look to the Bible as a reference for the teachings of Jesus. The way we live our lives should be according to the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and not by the opinions or standards set by man.

But just as our Lord Jesus said, ” that we should watch and therefore be ready, for He will return at a time most people do not expect.”

Just because an event has not yet happened yet, does not mean it won’t happen. It’s just a matter of time.

The Lord has fulfilled everything He said in the Bible. He is faithful and true. So watch and therefore be ready!!

Luke 12:37-38

“Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.”

Please stay Rapture Ready.

The Eye is the Lamp of the Body

The Eye is the Lamp of the Body

As each day starts, we are constantly bombarded by information in all directions. The moment we turn on the television, we immediately feed our minds with whatever news or program that’s  being broadcast. Or if we open our computers and browse the web, we quickly access information in a single glance-from sports sites, hollywood movies, rumours, gossips, fashion tips and so on.

Our minds generally feed on information. And whatever info we  see, our mind can remember – whether it’s good or bad.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:22 -23:
Matthew 6:22-23 (New International Version)
22 The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your  whole body will be full of light.

23 But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

Just imagine the amount of information that your mind stores every time it glances on something. If we look at the newspaper and see crimes and wars, we are filled with sadness and hatred. If we watch movies that are violent, then we somehow get those  images in our minds.

This will slowly build-up and eventally be assimilated in our moods and behaviors. And slowly this  information overload will bear fruit.

Now, if you focus on the God’s Word – The Bible. Then the fruit of it is that you will become a better Christian- with a deeper understanding of who God is. But if you spend more time reading the World’s Word – Newspaper, Magazines, Televisions, then you will be of the World. ( Garbage In, Garbage Out)

As Jesus said, Matthew 7:18-20 (New International Version)

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear  good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

As Christians, we all believe that the Bible is Truth and Word of  God. People can spend so much time reading the newspaper or magazines daily, but they can’t read their Bible everyday.

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness [in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action]. – 2 Timothy 3:16

Now, What Have You Been Looking at Lately?

Read the Bible instead!

God Bless!

How to Live and Walk in the Spirit

“HOW TO LIVE AND WALK IN THE SPIRIT”

GALATIANS 5:16-26

16 – I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the Flesh.
17 – For the lust of the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and those are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things you wish.
18 – But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.
19 – Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lewdness,
20 – idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 – envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 – gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 – And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 – If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit.
26 – Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Now, by simply reading what was mentioned in the Bible, we may not really understand what the apostle Paul meant by the “works of the flesh”. What I did is that I took all the negative qualities mentioned and listed down their definition. Here’s what I got:

WHAT ARE THE WORKS OF THE FLESH?

1. adultery – Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse.
2. fornication – voluntary sexual intercourse outside marriage
3. uncleanliness – not taking care of the “temple of the holy spirit”
4. lewdness – Preoccupied with sex and sexual desire; lustful.
5. idolatry – Blind or excessive devotion to something other than God.
6. sorcery – witchcraft or use of spells
7. hatred – a feeling of intense dislike; enmity towards another human being
8. contentions – An assertion put forward in argument. A striving to win in competition; rivalry / The act or an instance of striving in controversy or debate.
9. jealousies – the state or quality of being jealous
10. outbursts of wrath -A sudden, violent display, as of activity or emotion:
11. selfish ambitions – living for yourself; feeding your ego
12. dissensions – Difference of opinion; disagreement.
13. heresies – An opinion or a doctrine at variance with established religious beliefs
14. envy – A feeling of discontent and resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.
15. murder – To kill another human
16. drunkeness – Drunkenness is the state of being intoxicated by consumption of alcoholic beverages to a degree that mental and physical faculties are noticeably impaired
17. revelries – Boisterous merrymaking. ( Loud, noisy, and lacking in restraint or discipline. )

Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

I pray that everyone who gets to read this note will repent and turn from their old ways and will instead accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Saviour. God Bless!

Testimonies of Muslims who turned to Jesus Christ!

In the World today, a huge movement is rapidly growing.  Many Muslims are all experiencing supernatural manifestations of the power of Jesus Christ.
That is why for every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity. In each day, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. And for every year, 6 Million Muslims turn to Jesus Christ.
Here are several  testimonies of Muslims who turned to Jesus Christ and received Him as their Lord and Saviour.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

Let us all pray for our Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world, that pastors and ministers will be sent to them so that they too will hear the good news of our Lord.

ARE YOU CHEATING ON GOD?

What is the greatest commandment? To Love God with all you heart, mind and spirit.
When you love someone, your whole attention only focuses on that single person. And when you want to talk to that person, you go straight to that person.
Jesus was asked what is the greatest commandment, and He answered:
“You shall love you God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Matthew 23:5
So, we should love god with ALL our HEART, SOUL and MIND.
Those three factors comprise what we call as a Healthy Relationsip.

How much time do we spend with God? 1 day in a week on Sundays? 1 hour perhaps?
If you really love someone, then your heart, your soul and your mind will constantly be of him or her. And to even think of somebody else is an act of betraying our true feelings to the point of infidelity. In every relationship, there are only 2 persons. But if a third person gets into the relationship, then things become complicated.
Similary, some people claim to love God with all their heart, but still involve others ( money, success, careers, hobbies, fame) in their relationship with God.
In life, the time spent with the our loved ones means a lot. And how much time you spent with that loved one, speaks LOVE louder than your words.
God Loves You so much that He sent his only Son to suffer and die on the cross for our salvation. No human father can ever ask his only son to die for people that his father loves. And yet, we take that love for granted.
Remember what God said:
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5 -5)

HOW TO BE AN OBEDIENT CHRISTIAN

1. TITHE ( Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. – Malachi 3:10)

2. Pray (“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. – Luke 18:1” ; “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. – Colossions 4:2”; “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)YOU HAVE TO PRAY ALWAYS NOT JUST ONCE A DAY BUT MORE!

3. Go to church more than once a week (“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” –  Matthew 18:20)

4. Give up worldly thing(Do not love the world 2 John 2:15-17)

5. Read the Bible everyday (“In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. – John 1:1”; Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness [in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action]. – 2 Timothy 3: 16)

6. Love the LORD MORE THAN ANYTHING in the world. (“And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.” – Mark 12:30-31)

7. Live a Christian life everyday (You have to show people that you are a real Christian NOT just when you are inside the church. “Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:13-16)
